Engineer Trust Chifamba was the founding director of H.T. Power, which he led from 1994 to January 2014, when he moved across to Renewable Africa (Zimbabwe). As the Managing Director of both entities, he has been involved with all its major projects, including the well-known mini hydro power plants (design, installation and commissioning) at Nyafaru and Rusitu in the Eastern Highlands.
He has led both entities in the various design and construction projects since the mid-90s, to include several high voltage lines for ZESA, NetOne and Econet Wireless Zimbabwe (11 and 33kV). He has also supervised several renewable energy projects in this time, mainly solar PV and biogas plants.
Trust also participated in utility valuations (generation, transmission and distribution) for Rwanda’s Electrogaz in 2002, as well as ZESA Holdings (2004 and 2012). He is a Former Board Member of ZESA Holdings.
