50MW Inyankuni Solar Project

The 50MW Inyankuni Solar Project exemplifies a transformative initiative in Zimbabwe’s renewable energy landscape, facilitated by the collaboration between RAZ, Bulawayo City Council( Project owner ), and Williams Engineering. By harnessing solar power on a significant scale, the project not only addresses energy security challenges but also paves the way for a cleaner, more sustainable future for the region. To primary objective was to provide solar energy primarily as back up power for the BCC water pumping stations at Ncema Dam, 60km from Bulawayo City.
